Happy New Year 2013!!!

Dear readers,

Wishing you a Happy New Year 2013!!
How has the new year been treating you so far?

I have been absence with my unclear state of mind, wondering whether I should be moving forward or being stuck at this point of my life.

Part of me is scared of moving forward because I want to be in this position, even though it has its ups and downs. I do realize that this will be something that would change the way I live my life, it's killing me inside while I enjoy the masked version of happiness. Longing for someone to be there for you, and you found someone that could never be the one but instead you choose to lie to yourself that maybe one day that certain person will be the one. That is a total lie, and I really need to get over it.

Especially if I think it through logically, my brain would be screaming at my feelings.
"Why the hell are you feeling that way?? It doesn't make any sense!!"

The Wanted - Lie to Me

So kiss me and tell me I'm the one
There's no other, no other one you want
Baby, kiss me, make sure you close your eyes
Or we fall down

Don't say it's all for the better
Oh, I need you to lie, to lie to me
I'll stand for the greatest pretender
I know you won't die for me
But say you will
Just lie to me, to me

Now I can see, you bite your lip when you look at me
One word, you say, and everything is giving you away
Let's close our eyes and save the truth for one more night
Or I fall down

It's like I found my own personal Barney Stinson, and I'm being miserable just like Robin Scherbatsky did. Guess happy endings really only happens on TV huh?

I'll be 22 this year, adulthood seems to get even harder now. I'm not really sure how to deal with things anymore because I can't do it the way I used to. I really need to get a good kick start this year, I haven't exactly embraced the new year spirit.

Any ideas to make my new year brighter?
Anyone?

Indo Pet Tags

Dear readers,

Pets are kept with the main reason of companionship. With cats adored by people who likes attitude and independence, and dogs preferred by people because of their loyalty, smartness and emotions. Well I am a dog person myself, dogs are indeed very charming.

I remember this one story that touched me..

Being a veterinarian, I was called to examine a ten year old Irish wolfhound named Belker. The dog's owners, Ron, his wife Lisa and their little boy, Shane, were all very attached to Belker and they were hoping for a miracle.

I examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. I told the family we couldn't do anything for Belker, and offered to perform the euthanasia procedure for the old dog in their home.

As we made arrangements, Ron and Lisa told me they thought it would be good for the four-year-old Shane to observe the procedure. They felt as though Shane might learn something from the experience.

The next day, I felt the familiar catch in my throat as Belker's family surrounded him. Shane seemed so calm, petting the old dog for the last time, that I wondered if he understood what was going on. Within a few minutes, Belker slipped peacefully away. The little boy seemed to accept Belker's transition without any difficulty or confusion.

We sat together for a while after Belker's death, wondering aloud about the sad fact that animal lives are shorter than human lives.

Shane, who had been listening quietly, piped up, "I know why."

Startled, we all turned to him. What came out of his mouth next stunned me. I'd never heard a more comforting explanation.

He said, "People are born so they can learn how to live a good life -- like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right?" The four-year-old continued, "Well, dogs already know how to do that, so they don't have to stay as long."

You get why pets are not only pets, they are our precious little addition to our family. While family members tend to be able to live by themselves, pets need the attention and all the love you can give because they will always love you no matter what. They won't even get mad at you for anything bad you did to them, they always forgive and forget.. =)

Sometimes there are times where we can't control or keep watch of our pets constantly, they might climb out the window (cats) or dash out the front gate (dogs). While most animals easily remember the way home, we might not know if something happened to them..

That's why many people make pet tags to identify the dog and maybe some information about the owner, just so that if anybody finds them they will notify the owner. We wouldn't want our dogs wandering off without anybody to help get find their way back into your arms.. =(

Indo Pet Tags customizes tag designs accordingly, whether you want to write your name and contact number or even maybe address. So you will feel more safe and secure if ever (hopefully not) your beloved pet gets lost.
